'Accentuate' Writing Workshops

 Sydney writer Adam Gibson will lead a series of four-week writing workshops, exploring finding your own distinctive writing voice and the writing form that best suits you (poetry, short stories, novels?), plus looking at ways to make your writing "zing" and connect with readers.

Each workshop series will run over 4 weeks (one session on Saturday each week). Each week we will look at specific aspects of writing while also developing and workshopping your own writing in a fun, encouraging environment.

 We will also look at ways of getting your work published asdand at the "business of writing" – such matters as dealing with publishers, agents and editors.

 Adam is the author of three books of poetry, his first novel manuscript was shortlisted for the Australian/Vogel Award, he has worked as a reporter for major Australian media newspapers and websites and is a recipient of a National Youth Media Award. He is also a sought-after performance poet and has performed his work widely.
